The Museum of Me

The Museum of Me is an Extraordinary Us project that elevates the lives of ordinary people by creating individual museums with, for and about them. Using our public realm and tour-able museum structure we strive to celebrate those who think ‘there’s nothing special about me’. Trust us. You are worthy of a museum.

It is a fun, personal and meaningful project that tells the story of each person through a collection of their stories and owned objects, together capturing a snapshot of both who they are, and indeed the community they exist within.

Creative Director Paul O’Donnell said, “The participants don’t need to be super heroes or celebrities but ordinary people with a story to tell. The Museum of Me is about real people who make their small but important contributions to the world around them. It’s been amazing to meet them all and we can’t wait for you to get to know them too.”
