LINCOLN: WOMANHOOD.
As part of International Women’s Month 2026, this collection of stories transforms Lincoln’s iconic landmarks into a living map of female experience, celebrating the diverse roles women play within the city's cultural and social fabric.
At the LNER Stadium, the "Kicking Off" exhibit highlights the grit and community spirit of those redefining women’s roles in sport and industry.
The Lawn [brought to life by the Lincoln Museum and Usher Gallery] hosts a profound exploration of "Becoming Mum," capturing the raw, creative, and ancestral transitions of motherhood through the We are the Matriarchy exhibition and expressions from five old, new, or expectant mothers. Followed by the stories of 4 Mothers who are… the Matriarchy.
The Lincoln Arts Centre serves as a global hub for "We Live and Learn," showcasing the intersection of activism, academia, and international heritage - we’re collaborating . Lincoln Arts Centre… shall we champion the women working in Academia… lets.
Last, but by no means least… we’re working with the gorgeous Lincoln Cathedral, and the gorgeous people who work within it. Together we are on a mission to show that Lincoln Cathedral, and its formidable female workforce is no thing of history… together, we. are. FUTURE!!!
So, take a step off the beaten path, walk intro another’s world and explore… The Museum of Me.
