TOUCHWOOD, SOLIHULL

We’re Better Together presents eight day long museums made with, for and about residents of Solihull Borough today. These include schoolchildren, a disabled rights campaigner, a mother fleeing the war in Ukraine and families who volunteer in the borough.

They have moved to Solihull from as far away as Hong Kong or as close as Aylesbury. Although they all have had very different experiences, the one thing they all share is the warm welcome they received when relocating here, and how proud they are to call Solihull home.

A partnership between Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and Extraordinary Us supported using public funding by Arts Council England.

OTHER ACTIVITY IN SOLIHULL:

THE GALLERY OF US by ST ANNE’S CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL

Working with Mrs Chester and the talented students of this talented school we provided an opportunity for their artworks to glisten under the store-lights of Touchwood Shopping Centre. 90 students contributed 90 masterpieces over their own weekend to create this stunning exhibition.

Explore The Gallery of Us by the students at St Anne’s which took pride of place in Touchwood Shopping Centre over three days. It’s a reminder that We’re Unique & We’re Special. Even YOU.
